Celebrate Peace with Justice Sunday, in June, the first Sunday after Pentecost, or any Sunday that fits best into your congregation ’s worship schedule. Pentecost celebrates the outpouring of the Holy Spirit call for God ’s shalom. 50% of the offering stays in the Southwest Texas Conference for its ministries. Through a variety of ministries, your offering on Peace with Justice Sunday encourages mutual support in our annual conference and around the world people of all ages learn alternatives to violence; new resources foster global justice; violence is stopped, and peace is restored.
