generously to the United Methodist Student Day Offering, or to Conference Advance Special #2017, 
to fund these scholarships.

Francis Asbury Award

The Francis Asbury Award is a non‑monetary award to recognize and encourage support of higher education ministries within The United Methodist Church. The award will offer recognition to individuals who have made a significant contribution to fostering the church's ministries in higher education at the local, district, or annual conference level of the church.

Cooperative Ministry in Higher Education - St Philip's Campus Ministry

St. Philip's College
San Antonio, Texas

Welcome to the ecumenical, eclectic, and exciting campus ministry at St. Philip’s College! Although this junior college is a commuter college and is formally an Episcopal school, the Campus Ministry is ecumenical. Campus Minister Olga Samples Davis invites you to engage your mind and spirit through a variety of activities and campus ministry groups.



Huston-Tillotson University Campus Ministry

Austin, Texas

Huston-Tillotson University is the oldest institution of higher education in Austin, having been founded in 1875. It is the only United Methodist-related university within the bounds of the Southwest Texas Conference. H-T currently enrolls nearly 600 students from many ethnic backgrounds. The campus ministry offers Christian principles in an academic setting.

San Antonio United Methodist Campus Ministry
San Antonio United Methodist Campus Ministry provides a network for Christian ministry and leadership development among college students in the San Antonio area, with an active ministerial presence through registered student organizations at San Antonio College, UTSA (1604 and Downtown) and at Trinity University, institutions with a combined enrollment of over 50,000.



United Campus Ministry Corpus Christi

Del Mar College and Texas A&M Corpus Christi
Corpus Christi, Texas

United Campus Ministry of Corpus Christi (UCMCC) exists to provide an ecumenical witness of its denominational partners to the students, faculty and staffs of TAMCC and DMC. UCMCC serves as a liaison between local churches in the Coastal Bend area and the campuses of Texas A&M Corpus Christi and Del Mar College.

United Campus Ministry of Victoria (UCM V) serves Victoria College and The University of Houston, Victoria. These institutions serve a regional area covering 100 miles of the Coastal Bend. UCM V provides a spiritual connection to a wide range of college students.



United Campus Ministry Wesley

Texas State University
San Marcos, Texas

The United Campus Ministry-Wesley was established on the campus at Southwest Texas State University as an ecumenical campus ministry in 1956. “UCM-Wesley,” formerly known as the Campus Christian Community, became a Wesley Foundation in 2008. The university, recently renamed Texas State University, has an enrollment of over 25,000 students, many of whom commute. UCM-Wesley serves students through a host of programs.



United Methodist Campus Ministry - Rio Grande Valley

University of Texas Pan American and South Texas College
Edinburg and McAllen, Texas

The United Methodist Campus Ministry of the Rio Grande Valley (UMCM RGV) offers ministry to two campuses, University of Texas Pan American in Edinburg, and South Texas College in McAllen. Serving more than 14,000 students at UTPA, and more than 18,000 at STCC, the UMCM RGV hosts a wide variety of programming.  UMCM RGV is conveniently located just across the street from UTPA.



Wesley Campus Ministries

Angelo State University

Wesley Campus Ministries (WCM ASU) is a new ministry of the United Methodist Church and the San Angelo District of The United Methodist Church. WCM ASU is committed to creating a Christian home away from home, where students come to grow in faith, become spiritual leaders and show Christ’s compassion in our world. Angelo State University has an enrollment of 6,155.   



Wesley Foundation

Texas Lutheran University
Seguin, Texas

Excitement abounds among students at Wesley Foundation - Texas Lutheran University (WF-TLU)!  We’re one of the newest emerging campus ministries in the SWTX Conference. We’ve taken mission trips with students from two universities. We’re excited about future trips with another Wesley Foundation. We still consider our group to be in its infancy and look forward to regular Bible study, service projects, and mission trips.

The vision of the Wesley Foundation is to be a community engaging in vital Christian ministry to students, faculty and staff at the University of Texas and all Austin area institutions of higher education with the purpose of building up generations of Christians who lead and serve.   The university has an enrollment of 50,000 students living both on campus and in off-campus student housing.
