Oak Meadow UMC breaks
ground for addition to building

Leaders of Oak Meadow UMC, San Antonio, join San Antonio District Superintendent Virgilio Vazquez-Garza (center left, with tie) for an Oct. 14 ground-breaking ceremony. The 130-member congregation is remodeling its current building and adding a 2,650-square-foot fellowship hall. The fellowship hall is to include two new restrooms and storage space. The current kitchen, pastor’s office and entrance to the narthex are to be enlarged and remodeled. The $300,000 building project is to be completed by late summer.
