> As Senior Pastor of University UMC, San Antonio, following a 21-year pastor, the church grew by 1000+ members to 5646 (June 2006); worship attendance increased by 372; mission giving reached an all-time high; a Justice Ministries Task Force was established with a home for abused women opened; Achievers Secondary School for special needs students begun; managed a staff of 80+; led largest capital campaign in the church’s history ($9.1 million)
> While at Bethany UMC, Austin, completed the largest building campaign in the congregation’s history; increased membership by approximately 400 and worship attendance by approximately 200; parented the start of a new church; tripled 2nd Mile mission giving
> Grew Asbury UMC, Corpus Christi, from 527 members to over 1100 members; relocated to a new, larger site; successfully completed two capital fund campaigns; engaged in wide-ranging justice and mercy missions including establishment of an AIDS care ministry and sponsorship of a city-wide Pax Conference – “Peace on Trial: Terrorism in Today’s World.”
