UM Women seek logo for regional mission school

United Methodist Women want a logo to symbolize the theme for this year’s regional School of Christian Mission.
Churchwomen are asking artists to submit logo designs by Feb. 11 for consideration. Theme for the South Central Jurisdictional school is “Cornerstones of Hope.”
The selected logo will be used on the cover of the regional school program book and may be used on banners or in PowerPoint presentations, said Glenda Sanders of Corpus Christi, the regional school representative. Artists will receive credit in all school publications for their work.
Potential logos should be submitted to Sanders camera ready on 8.5-by-11-inch white paper or e-mailed to glenda7010@aol.com. Logos should be in black and white and—if possible—in color.
Copyright authorization and a brief statement about what the logo means should accompany each submission, Sanders said.
The 2005 “Cornerstones of Hope” curriculum includes a spiritual-growth study on children of the Bible, a geographic study on India and Pakistan, and a social issues study on public education.
