UM Women have leader training in Rockport

First UMC, Rockport, is playing host to this year’s annual leadership development for local officers of United Methodist Women Feb. 3.
“Growing as Leaders Who Make a Difference” will be the theme for the informative event.
Registration begins at 9 a.m.
Morning worship, led by Jo Anne Wilshusen, St. John’s UMC, Corpus Christi, will be “Epiphany: Come and See; Go and Tell.”
Reading Program awards will be presented.
Breakout sessions for local officers with their Corpus Christi District counterparts will be offered to newly elected and experienced officers.
Program resources for 2007 will be available. Lunch will be served. Childcare will be provided.
Local officers, pastors and all United Methodist Women are invited to attend this yearly event and share in the worship, training and fellowship.
Units are encouraged to pre-register for the day with an approximate number of individuals who will be attending.
