Winter storm brings snow to Mount Wesley
More than an inch of snow blankets the office and chapel at Mount Wesley Conference Center, Kerrville, Jan. 17. A winter storm brought snow to Southwest Texas communities from McCamey to Comfort Jan. 16 and 17. Austin, San Marcos and San Antonio reported sleet, freezing rain and ice. Winter weather closed highways in Austin, San Antonio and the Texas Hill Country and disrupted midweek activities at many churches. Some church daycare programs and the United Methodist Center in San Antonio were closed. Churches reported activities back to normal by the weekend.
