Leadership workshop coming
to Manchaca UMC Feb. 25-26

Manchaca UMC is to play host to a Breakthrough Leadership Workshop Feb. 25 and 26.
The workshop is a brand new training event offered by Stephen Ministries of St. Louis, a Christian training organization that has been equipping church leaders for 30 years.
The session takes some of the best leadership practices from the business world and grounds them in Christ-centered theology.
Dr. David Paap and the Rev. William J. McKay, two lead trainers from Stephen Ministries, St. Louis, are to conduct the workshop.
Workshop topics include:
> How to Be a Breakthrough Leader.
> Robust Dialogue: An Essential Communication Tool of Breakthrough Leaders.
> Caring Candor: How Dealing Directly with Issues Is the Most Caring Thing to Do.
> Leading a Powerful Visioning Process.
> How Jesus Led.
The event is designed for pastors, church staff members, laity leaders, committee members, business managers, supervisors, team leaders and anyone who wants to learn and grow as a leader.
Registration fee is $30 per person ($40 per person after Feb. 17). This fee includes Saturday lunch, refreshments and the workshop handouts.
