Yorktown UMs consecrate refurbished parsonage, updated children’s building; launch Godly Play

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

First UMC, Yorktown, celebrated God’s call on our lives Jan. 28, when the Rev Barbara J. Ruth
consecrated the newly refurbished parsonage.
The Rev Harold Onwiler, pastor, assisted in the ceremony.
Church members were witnesses to the call that God puts on our lives and the lives of those around us. The church thanked God for the abundance of resources and blessings that came from the Yorktown community, friends of the church and members of the congregation. God also provided resources to refurbish the children’s building for the launch of Godly Play.
A fellowship lunch followed the consecration service.
