Pharr UMC offers citizenship classes

A recent reception at Pharr UMC honored individuals who had been taking free classes through the church’s Pharr Community Outreach Project to prepare for U.S. citizenship examinations.
Receiving citizenship during January were Santiago Huerta, Maria Nataren, Gloria Coers and Dina Segovia.
Three additional individuals have appointments for exams in the near future.
Eight other students are now enrolled in the citizenship class.
