Retired Bishop Solomon to give keynote address at UM Men March
event
The Southwest Texas United Methodist Men will gather for their
annual retreat March 19-21 at Mount Wesley Conference Center,
Kerrville.
The theme of the retreat is “Equipping Men to help the
Church through God’s Word.”
The keynote speaker will be retired Bishop Dan E. Solomon. Other
speakers include retired United Methodist minister Ed Wilder
and Ralph Goins of the Society of St. Andrew.
In addition to fun, fellowship and spiritual growth opportunities,
these retreats always offer many good meals. The tradition of
charcoal broiled steak for Saturday dinner will be continued.
All men are welcome and encouraged to attend. Young men
12 to 18 will be special guests, with certified youth directors
available for activities involving participants.
