Church plans traditional ‘Tre Ore’ rite Good Friday
First UMC, Austin, is to celebrate the traditional worship service known as “Tre Ore” Good Friday, April 14. The service runs from noon to 3 p.m. The three hours represent the time Christ spent on the cross. The “Tre Ore” will be in addition to the Tenebrae service at 7 p.m.
First UMC is at 1201 Lavaca St., Austin.
