Advanced lay speakers course
planned for April 7 in Corpus
“Lay Speakers Grow Spiritually Through Daily Discipline” is the spring Advanced Lay Speaking Course planned for the Corpus Christi District.
The training will be April 7 and 8 at Wesley UMC, Corpus Christi. Registration brochures will be mailed soon.

Communications seminar set
for Aug. 26 in Corpus Christi
The Corpus Christi District has scheduled a communications seminar for Saturday, Aug. 26, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The event is to be at First UMC, Corpus Christi.
Douglas Cannon, communications and public witness director for the Southwest Texas Conference, is to be our primary presenter.
We will be sending more information about this event to congregations in the district in the near future.

Church to hold April craft fair
Wesley UMC, Corpus Christi, is having its first spring craft fair Saturday,
April 1. The fair will be open from 8:30 a.m. until 6 p.m.
The public is invited to come to shop for all sorts of handmade craft items, from children’s puzzles to macramé and potted plants to ceramics.
Admission is free, so tell your friends and neighbors, and come join us for a great time.
