District choir asked to perform June 6,
first night of annual conference session

A committee met April 10 to plan for the Corpus Christi District Choir, which has been asked to lead the June 6 opening night service for the Southwest Texas Annual Conference session.
We want all singers from across the district who are interested to join us for the special worship service. Here is the schedule:

May 20
3-5 p.m.: The only rehearsal of the group to be at First UMC, Corpus Christi. Choirs are requested to purchase music as listed and to become familiar with it. However, if a limited number of singers from your church wants to participate, encourage them to come to the rehearsal, and we’ll probably have some extra music.

June 6
5:30 p.m.: Rehearsal on stage at Selena Auditorium. Singers are to bring finger food to share with the group
6:30 p.m.: Break to eat and share fellowship
7 p.m.: Gathering music. If you want to share a group/small ensemble/solo, get in touch with me.
7:30 p.m.: Communion/Memorial Service.
