United Methodist Women of Crestview UMC celebrate 135 years of mission work

Crestview UMC, Austin, celebrated the UMW’s 135 years in mission with a birthday party. The UMW’s history was read, and a skit was performed by members. Then the history of Crestview’s part in mission through the women was highlighted. All past presidents were invited, and several who are no longer living in Austin attended. Refreshments featured a cake with the UMW symbol portrayed. About 50 ladies attended.

It’s time for
Vacation Bible Schools

It is that time of year when churches are in high gear getting ready for Vacation Bible School. Last summer several churches shared the props, scenery, artwork and other items from Lighthouse Kids. It greatly enhanced the VBS experience for those churches.
