100 attend youth rally on South Padre Island

The McAllen District Council on Youth Ministry sponsored a district youth rally April 23 on South Padre Island.
Some 100 youths and sponsors attended the event. Activities included volleyball tournaments, swimming, games, a barbecue lunch and wonderful fellowship among the district young people.
Special thanks to J’Nevelyn Lloyd; Phil Hoeflinger; the men’s group from Wesley UMC, Harlingen; and each of the youth directors from the district for the part they played in creating a very special opportunity for our district young people.
