Pastors Appreciation

The members of Wesley UMC, San Angelo, will host an Appreciation Service for Pastor Elsie Ferguson, with the theme: “Called by God, Led by the Spirit.” The service will be at 3 p.m. June 13 at 301 W. 18th St., San Angelo.
Pastor June White of Lakeview and Trinity UMCs will be the guest speaker. Music will be provided by the Inspirational Singers. For more information please call (325) 653-9028.



District Welcome Picnic

The San Angelo District invites everyone in the district
to attend the Welcome Picnic as we meet and greet
all new pastors and their families.

Saturday, June 26

Goodfellow Air Force Base Recreation Camp
1950 S. Concho Drive
San Angelo

Cost: $7 for all over 10
$5 for 10 and under
(The district will pay for all new pastors and
their families.)

Eddie Moore will again be catering his brisket,
beans, potato salad and peach cobbler.
The district will provide tea. You need to bring any
other drinks you would like to have and lawn chairs.
We will have pavilion No. 6.


Cokesbury sing slated in San Angelo

Please join us in Celebration Hall at First UMC, San Angelo, 37 E. Beauregard, June 27 at 3 p.m. for old fashioned gospel singing using our Cokesbury Hymnals!
Churches, bring your singers, and please help by bringing your own Cokesbury Hymnals to help us with hymnal coverage.
If you own a Cokesbury Hymnal, bring yours from home and also a friend to share it with.
We will sing with two pianos and sometimes with two pianos and organ.
We will provide coffee and dessert following the singing.
Pastors, please post this notice in your bulletins as well.
