Churches can select dates now for training with Don Nations
All churches participating in the Congregational Transformation Program with Don Nations can reserve these Church Transformation Training dates:
> Sept. 4-8.
> Oct. 2-6.
> Feb. 19-23.
> Oct. 7-11, 2008.
> 3rd week TBA.
Reserve these confirmed dates on your church calendars right away. Details will be sent later.
Also please give these days to your transformation leadership team right away and to any other staff members and laypeople who may be interested, so they can put these weeks on their calendars as well.

Emergency response training set for Aug. 11 at Grace UMC
UM Committee on Relief emergency response training is set for Aug. 11 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Grace UMC, Corpus Christi, 11222 Leopard St.
Jim Calloway, McAllen District disaster-response coordinator, is to lead the session. All churches should plan to send teams to this event.
Who should attend? Emergency response coordinators, emergency response teams and trustees.

Nov. 16-17 stewardship event to feature the Rev. David Bell
A stewardship event, led by the Rev. David Bell, director of the Center for Christian Stewardship for the General Board of Discipleship, is scheduled for Nov. 16 and 17 at First UMC, Corpus Christi. More information is to be available in July and August.
The event is sponsored by the Corpus Christi District Leadership Development Team.
