5 churches play host to symphony programs
Five UM congregations are playing host to San Antonio Symphony concerts during July. The eight concerts are part of the Cactus Pear Music Festival.
> Laurel Heights UMC, San Antonio, is to be the site of “Baroque Again” July 9, “Brazenly Beethoven” July 14 and “Latin Seasonings” July 16. All performances begin at 7:30 p.m. Admission costs $20 per adult.
> First UMC, Boerne, is to be host for the baroque concert July 10 at 2 p.m. and the Beethoven performance July 13 at 7 p.m. Suggested donation is $20 per adult.
> Fredericksburg UMC is to welcome the baroque performance July 8 at 7 p.m. Suggested donation is $20 per adult.
> First UMC, Kerrville, is scheduled to have the Latin music show July 15 at 7 p.m. Suggested donation is $20 per adult.
> First UMC, Georgetown, is to be the site of the baroque concert July 7 at 7 p.m. Admission costs $20 per adult.
