A letter of introduction
from new youth leader

My name is Amy Howell, and I am excited to be serving as the new youth coordinator for the Austin District! I am currently in full-time ministry as the youth director at First UMC, Pflugerville. I have worked in youth and camping ministry in The United Methodist Church for the past 12 years. I am continually blessed and humbled to be in God’s ministry!
As the Austin District youth coordinator, I am in service to you, our local church youth ministry leaders. I hope to encourage you, support you and partner with you in building strong and effective youth ministry programs. I know how blessed we are to have such a community among our youth leaders. My desire is to nourish that community and help us partner together in leadership to our youths.
Please plan on attending our next District Youth Professionals meeting Wednesday, Aug. 16, at 11 a.m. at the District Office. We’ll catch up on summer ministries and start planning for our fall district events!
