Sea City Work Camp shows area hands, feet of Christ in action

“Built upon the ROCK....our firm foundation” was the theme for Sea City Work Camp 2006. 
Some 170 youths and as many adult volunteers participated in the camps. They showed our neighbors what it means to be the hands and feet of Christ.
The two-week camps, headquartered at First UMC, Portland, and Grace UMC, Corpus Christi, refurbished 11 homes.
Its goal is to expand to four weeks and help rebuild Corpus Christi—all to the glory of God.
Dates for 2007 so far are:
> June 10-15. Host church: First UMC, Portland.
> June 17-22. Host church: Grace UMC, Corpus Christi.
