MUSIC MINISTER: Faith UMC, Austin, seeks a versatile music minister to develop a strong, Christ-centered music ministry that brings out the best in the children, youths, and adults who participate, thereby better equipping them to share the gospel of Jesus Christ. This person should be passionate, creative, enthusiastic and committed to providing the leadership and structure necessary to ensure a dynamic, growth-oriented music ministry. She/he should be familiar with a wide variety of music styles appropriate in a worship setting. Part time—15 to 20 hours per week. ORGANIST: Westlake UMC, Austin, seeks an organist. Position requires one Sunday worship service and one Wednesday evening rehearsal each week. Occasional seasonal services are also required as needed. Organist would play a three-manual Allen Renaissance organ purchased in 2002. Westlake has a vibrant music program with 11 musical groups as well as seasonal ensembles.
