Leaders invited to meet with DS
Ask District Superintendent Barbara Ruth everything you always wanted to know about the church at Staff/Pastor-Parish Relations Committee training sessions next month.
Invited to attend are those currently serving and those who may be PPRC/SPRC chairs in 2006. Each church should plan to send committee members to one of the two training events offered.
The District North training will be Sept. 17 from 9:30 a.m. to noon at Karnes County UMC, 201 N. Esplanade, Karnes City.
The District South training is scheduled for Sept. 27 from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at Grace UMC, 11222 Leopard St., Corpus Christi.
Snacks will be provided at both events. You may bring your own supper to the South event.

Let her know how many to expect from your church so she can prepare sufficient handouts.

Dale Carnegie course available
Pastors, lay speakers and church leaders are invited to attend a Dale Carnegie course.
The 12-week course begins Sept. 13, with a preview session Aug. 30. Location is Tower Two Building, 555 N. Carancahua, Corpus Christi.
Cost for UMs is $1,395.
