Wesley heritage tour possible
Have you always wanted to take a trip to England? Here’s your chance!
Wesley UMC, Harlingen, is looking into the possibility of a group going to England in July 2006 with Educational Opportunities Tours. There will be an informational meeting in September.

Clergy lectionary group to organize
A lectionary group for clergy members is to begin Sept. 12 at Wesley UMC, Harlingen. The group is to gather at 10:30 a.m. Come discuss scriptures for the next Sunday as we prepare to preach. All denominations are welcome. If you have any questions, please contact the Rev. Tim Brewer at (956) 423-6156.
Local pastors interested in starting a quarterly study group are also invited to contact Brewer.

Program ministries team set to meet
The McAllen District program ministries team is to meet Sept. 24 at 10 a.m. in the District Office. All members are asked to make plans to attend this important fall meeting. If you have any questions, please call Mary Catherine Edwards at (956) 423-6156.

Volunteers needed for flood recovery
Susan Hellums, Methodist Border Friendship Committee mission coordinator, is scheduling volunteer teams to help rebuild homes destroyed by Hurricane Emily.
