Amos Commission provides speakers

The Austin District Amos Commission has established a speakers bureau and a listserv. Bill Carter of The Rock UMC, Cedar Park, is coordinator.
The Amos Commission is to be a resource to stimulate and assist local congregational leaders to become involved in ministries of social justice that address the causes of suffering, pain and hunger.
Presentations and studies can be tailored to a specific congregation or to a group within a congregation, whether it is just beginning to explore the concept of justice ministry or it is ready to look at specific issues.
