Sea City Camp wraps up, plans for 2006

Eight homeowners have “like-new” homes, and two United Methodist churches have new paint and roofs thanks to Sea City Work Camp youths and adult volunteers this summer.
Grace UMC, Corpus Christi, played host to more than 100 youth campers and some 35 adult volunteers. First UMC, Portland, welcomed 50 youth and adult volunteers.
Many corporate donors and loving volunteers made this project one of true community service in the name of Jesus Christ.
Sea City looks forward to the Holy Spirit’s direction to expand beyond Corpus Christi city limits to help our neighbors in need.
Dates for summer 2006 are listed below. Out-of-town groups are welcome to participate.
