Ministries board
A member of Northern Hills UMC, San Antonio, is new board of directors president for Methodist Healthcare Ministries of South Texas.
Dudley Harral, Northwest Hills business administrator, succeeds Robert Rork as presiding officer for the San Antonio-based organization’s policy-making group.
Rork, a member of Alamo Heights UMC, San Antonio, remains on the board as immediate past president.
Other 2005-2006 board officers are George “Mac” Williams of Williams, Crow, Falls LLP, senior vice president; Mark Schwarz of Ameripoint Title, vice president; Fred Campbell Jr., a physician with University Health System, vice president; Mary Tom Hefte, a Corpus Christi civic leader and member of Grace UMC there, secretary; and Roy Campbell III of Frost National Bank, treasurer.
Methodist Healthcare Ministries is affiliated with the Southwest Texas Conference and provides funds to improve healthcare in the region.
Methodist Healthcare Ministries owns half the Methodist Healthcare System of San Antonio and uses revenue from the hospitals to fund health and wellness projects.
