Messiah Chorus auditions open

The Corpus Christi Messiah Chorus is auditioning singers to perform in Handel’s “Messiah.”
The production is scheduled for Sunday, Dec. 11, at 5 p.m. in the sanctuary of First UMC, Corpus Christi.
This annual presentation of the Corpus Christi Messiah Chorus will feature local soloists Flicka Rahn, Laurie Bryce, Andy Moore and Scott Elliff.
Accompanying will be members of the Corpus Christi Symphony Orchestra.
Chorus rehearsals begin Nov. 7 at 7 p.m. in the choir room of First UMC. Singers must attend three of four Monday night rehearsals and the Dec. 10 orchestra rehearsal.
The choir will be limited to 80 singers. Choral experience is preferred.
