Faith UMC, Austin,
has new Wesley nurse

Linda Chambers has begun work at Faith UMC, Austin, as Wesley nurse.
Chambers had been serving Parker Lane UMC, Austin.
She will be working with the Nurture and Care Committee to meet shut-ins and homebound elderly members. She will also continue her work with The Sanctuary, a respite care program.  
A health-care task force plans to meet this month to guide Chambers in her work at Faith.
The mission of the Wesley nurse is to help the church address the health-care needs of the congregation and the community, with a special emphasis on prevention through education.
