George Ricker makes
sense, shows compassion
Thank God for people like George Ricker (“Our perceptions of God’s intentions keep evolving,” Oct. 28).
Out of all the articles I have read in the Witness, he has by far made more sense, shown more compassion for all God’s children, put all sin it its proper perspective and shown he is truly a Bible scholar.
Thank you, my brother in Christ, for your viewpoint and for your expertise.
And thanks for expressing that viewpoint so that simple laypeople like me could understand it.

Stories in Oct. 14 Witness
lift spirits, illustrate grace
Thanks for the Oct. 14 Witness, the finest spirit-lifter in a long time. 
The sheer mass of the outpouring of Christian love and outreach by Southwest Texas Conference people is awesome evidence that the church is alive and well.
The “Viewpoint” articles on Page 6 and the features on Page 7 were a most refreshing touch—all positive and informative with strong nuances of grace.
