About Children’s Ministries The psalmist declares, “God, you created my inmost being and knit me together in my mother’s womb.” For all these mysteries—for the wonder of myself, for the wonder of children, for the wonder of your works—we thank God.
May we appreciate and value all the wonder of our life and the wonders of people and nature. In valuing children and nature, may we protect, affirm, and build a better, more peaceful world.

Council on Children's Ministries
CHILDREN'S COUNCIL MEMBERS
Goals
• Opportunities for children to develop their discipleship • Resources for adults who work with children to enhance leadership skills • Resources to help local churches be aware of the needs of all children
Camps Children attend camp to relax and experience God’s creation, love and grace through outdoor activities, crafts, scripture activities, music, art & drama, and guided play. Adults attend camp to serve children and receive all of the above!
Adult volunteers are needed at our camps! The SWTC requires one responsible adult sponsor for every 8 children registered from the same congregation. Adult sponsors must send the Camp Registration form, a check for the camp fee, and background consent form to the Conference Office. Consent forms may be obtained from the SWTC, Camp Dean or local church office.
