Children’s Summer Camps 2012
Children attend camp to relax and experience God’s creation, love and grace through outdoor activities, crafts, scripture activities, music, art & drama, and guided play. Adults attend camp to serve children and receive all of the above!
The Conference Council on Children’s Ministries offers camps for children in 3 age levels at Mount Wesley Retreat Center each summer. Choose the camp according to the grade that you will be entering in the fall. Camp activities include hands-on creation, labyrinth, indoor & outdoor activities, swimming, Bible fun, and making new friends.

How to Serve a Children’s Camp
YOU can serve! YOU can minister to children!
Volunteer Adult Staff are welcome to apply to serve a camp by contacting the dean. Use God’s gift of creativity, love for children and enjoy the great outdoors. Those who exhibit principled Christian values and exemplary mentoring become partners in ministry with ministerial camp staff. Please pray about your service. Background checks required. Camp fees are complimentary.
Volunteer Junior Staff age limit is 5 years above the camper age level. Use your gift of working with children and love for God’s great outdoors. Discern God’s call to the ministry. Please pray about your service. Pastor’s reference letter required. Camp fees are complimentary.
Adult Chaperone is a member of a local congregation who accompanies 8 or more children to the same camp. Must be 21 years of age or older. The chaperone remains at camp and is willing to assist camp staff as needed in children’s activities as well as overnight cabin supervision. The local church is encouraged to cover the registration fee. Background checks required.
