Our worship in both its diversity and its unity is an encounter with the living God through the risen
Christ in the power of the Holy Spirit. When the people of God gather, the Spirit is free to move them
to worship in diverse ways, according to their needs.

Adult Choral Workshops
Local church choirs and individuals gather to look at new worship music, improve vocal skills and
praise God in song. Join the mighty chorus of small church and large church choral groups, ensembles,
and individual participants. Sponsored by the Conference Board of Discipleship Worship and Music Team
in collaboration with SWTX members of the national Fellowship of United Methodists in Music and
Worship Arts.

Annual Conference Worship and Music Team
SWTC Worship and Music offers resources for worship at conference sessions, seminars, workshops and
training events involving pastors, musicians, forms of worship, and the use of music and other arts, with
particular emphasis on congregational singing.

Music, Art and Drama Camp
A music and fine arts camp for older elementary children is held at Mount Wesley. Children experience
God’s creative mystery through musical activities and recreation. Adults with fine arts background wishing to
participate on the Servant Team may contact the Dean.
